Back then ...
... our great-grandfather (born 1858) was a farmer, watchmaker, and beekeeper. His bees still lived in baskets made of woven straw. Mobile comb construction, honey extractor, foundation press – all these significant inventions and innovations for beekeeping were made during his lifetime and were already used by him back then.

Today ...
... we use bee houses made from local spruce wood, entirely crafted in our own workshop. The resulting beeswax is elaborately processed and returns to the colonies as golden yellow honeycomb. For healthy bees and the best honey!

Our Honeys
Every year and every bee location is a little different.
From the dark, aromatic forest honey to the amber-colored forest-flower honey to the golden shimmering alpine rose honey, the product range of our region extends. We offer what nature gives us.

Summer Retreat
For a short summer, our bee colonies spend time in the Radurscheltal at 1800 m. There, they collect the nectar of the alpine roses and process it into honey of unsurpassed quality.

Storage
Please store honey in a dark place and protected from heat!
Depending on the variety, honey crystallizes at different rates.
It can be gently liquefied in a warm water bath at about 40°C (104°F).
Tip: Occasional stirring accelerates the process.
